Let me start by saying I created this hat AGES ago, and never got around to posting it. I look at it now and I think about how little my kid looks and how horrible the photos are. However, I do think the hat turned out kinda cute, and I did write out a pattern for it. That said, why not share? Right?
So here is The Julie Hat. It is a hat I made for my middle child a few years ago. It uses cable stitches and the results are pretty nice. If you’ve never done cables give it a try. You will be surprised how easy it actually is.
Let me show you some photos of the hat.
And here is a close up of the cables.
Okay, that’s about all I have to say about it. Here is a link to the PDF file. Download it and start knitting! Feel free to ask if you have questions, and I will try to remember making it and figure out how to help. Also be sure to let me know if you find mistakes.
Thanks for stopping by!
Oh hey, this design belongs to me, so don’t redistribute it or claim it as your own, or sell it or post it anywhere without linking back to this blog, or make fun of it or feed it to your hamster… blah blah blah. Thanks!
